The safe features a large top-loading drawer deposit system, allowing managers and supervisors to drop thick cash envelopes, coin bags, and daily takings instantly into the lower vault. Equipped with an advanced internal anti-fishing baffle mechanism, the safe ensures that once items are dropped, they are physically trapped and cannot be retrieved through the deposit drawer.

Constructed by CMI Safe Co. to exacting commercial standards, the CMS2 features a massive 12mm thick solid steel plate door and body assembly to resist aggressive physical attacks. To enforce strict operational accountability, the safe utilizes a dual-custody locking system. Opening the main door requires two separate keys—perfect for establishing a protocol where an armored car guard or store owner holds one key, and the floor manager holds the other.
